I am writing this to express my feelings regarding the dissolution of the ZA/UM art collective. I am, to put it simply, hurt.
My hurt is obviously not as deep as that felt by the members of it, their work and potentially magnum opus ripped away from them by greed.
The secretary of the group ended his piece announcing the dissolution of the group indicating he was writing this from a psych clinic. My
pain and emotions are nowhere equivalent, but it still hurts. It hurts not as a “fan” having my “fav game ruined.” It hurts as this game
touched me, it hurts as an artist out of empathy. I want to scream and shout like the dime-a-dozen prophets and revolutionaries in the park,
but writing this is less likely to result in handcuffs and a call to my therapist.
